Review: Makeup Revolution Conceal & Hydrate Foundation & Concealer

When I heard that Makeup Revolution was launching their foundation and concealer in ‘Conceal & Hydrate’ I was so excited. I really wanted to love their original Conceal & Define’ but I hated it, my skin just looked awful.

I have been testing this now for around a week and I am obsessed, maybe enough to say that this is now my new favourite full-coverage combination. The one thing I love is that this foundation has a pump, I’m so glad they didn’t use the doe foot like they did on their ‘Conceal & Define’!

I got the foundation in the shade F.01 and the concealer in the shade C.01 both are perfect for me and are light enough for my Caspar the ghost skin tone! The foundation doesn’t feel heavy on my skin and the concealer feels really creamy which is perfect for my under eyes. The one thing I noticed about the foundation is how amazing it looked throughout the day, it seemed to get better and better as the day went on which rarely happens. It left my skin looking dewy and healthy.

I have been applying the foundation and concealer with a beauty sponge and both blend out perfectly. A little goes a long way with both of these which is great.

The foundation is £9 and the concealer is £7 – such a bargain! Makeup Revolution is killing it with their new launches at the moment. I’ve just placed an order for their new setting spray and powder, I can’t wait to see what they are like.

Have you tried the new foundation and concealer? If not will you be picking it up?

I’d love to try this range but I feel like it might be a little too heavy for my oily skin. Although, I have been leaning more towards dewier makeup products recently, so if it’s not too heavy, it would probably be fine for me 🙂
