[AD- Gifted] I’ve recently been sent some products from Lavera and I’ve been putting them to the test. I was sent 6 products to test and I wanted to share my thoughts.
Tinted Moisturising Cream 3-in-1 £7.40
Unfortunately, this product is too dark for me but I still decided to try it out. It’s very sheer due to it being a tinted moisturiser which I don’t mind and it would work really well for no makeup, makeup days and during the summer months. This product contains aloe vera, vitamin E, nutrients and minerals. I applied this using a beauty sponge as this is how I usually apply my base products. Lavera suggest that you apply this with you hands – I haven’t tried this yet as I hate getting my hands grubby! I would like to give a lighter shade a go.
Beautiful Mineral Eyeshadow – Light Sand, Matt’n Biscuit and Shiny Blossom £10.90
All of these shades are perfect for everyday and are the perfect neutral shades. They last all day and don’t fade which sometimes happens with eyeshadow. I have been using Light Sand in the crease which is very subtle but gives enough definition for me. I’m very pale and this is perfect for me. If you had a darker skin tone it may not work for you. I use Matt’n Biscuit all over my lid for the perfect wash of colour and it works well blending with Light Sand. Shiny Blossom is now my new favourite inner corner highlight. This shade is blinding and really makes my inner corner pop. It doesn’t have any glitter in it which I love it’s just pure shimmer. I would love to get these eyeshadows in more colours as the quality is amazing.
Powerful Lashes Mascara – £7.10
This mascara is said to define and enchants volume. It has a rubber wand and is very black. I had to admit this mascara didn’t wow me. The formula is quite wet so hopefully when it drys down a bit I will like it a lot more. It did give my lashes a lot of length but not very much volume. At this stage I don’t know if I would repurchase it but I will definitely continue using it.
Natural Matt’n Stay – Peach £5.95
I bloody love this colour and the formula. Unlike other matte lip products it doesn’t dry out my lips which is perfect for me. I cannot stand products that make my lips feel awful. It lasts quite well but you would need to reapply it during the day. This doesn’t bother me too much. I’m going to have a look and see what other shades they do and I may order 1 or 2 more. I would love this in the perfect nude.
Thank you very much Lavera for sending me these products to test out.
