J.One has to be the most talked about Korean Beauty brand out there. J.One is an indie brand created by the Korean Actress Ha Jiwon. I have to be honest I hadn’t heard of her before using the brand and doing a little bit of research.

I was kindly sent 3 products to try by Sparkle PR. The J.One Jelly Pack Primer, The J.One Black Jelly Overnight mask and the J.One Jelly Cream Moisturiser. I actually received these whilst I was admitted to the hospital so receiving such a nice PR package really made my day.

J.One Jelly Pack Thoughts

My first thought looking at this product was how much I loved the simple and clean packaging. Some companies go a bit over the top with packaging so it was nice to see something so simple.

Now the actual product itself is WEIRD. The texture is so sticky! Please do not let that put you off though because it’s bloody brilliant. It claims to be an all-in-one skincare and makeup product which works as a daytime treatment, mask and ‘makeup gripper’ primer. It leaves your skin dewy and a little bit sticky but of course the stickiness works amazing as a makeup base. It takes a little work getting the product spread across your face but its so worth it.

Before using the J.One Jelly Pack my foundation would ALWAYS without fail to disappear halfway through the day, it would annoy me so much. This is honestly the only primer that keeps my makeup in place until I take it off at night.

J.One Black Jelly Pack Thoughts

The overnight mask comes in the same style packaging which of course I love.

The product itself is very gel-like and its kind of black in colour, very odd! I was so scared the first time I used this that it was going to leave a black tinge to my skin. The overnight mask claims to hydrate and plump the skin whilst you sleep, sounds good right?

The first morning after using this my skin felt really soft and I was impressed. Becuase I’m lazy I keep forgetting to use this after moisturising which is just terrible. I have made a mental note to add this to my nightly skincare routine. My first impressions of the product were fab though!

J.One Gel Cream Moisturiser Thoughts

Again I bloody love the packaging for this product. It’s so simple yet still pleasing to the eye.

The product itself is a pretty standard moisturiser and it does the job. It’s a lightweight moisturiser with contains fullerene. This is an award-winning ingredient which is said to give skin a plumper, firmer and fresher appearance. The texture as described is very gel-like which feels amazing on the skin. I have been using this at night and in the morning my skin feels soft which is great. I haven’t noticed any dramatic changes to my skin but I’m going to keep using it.
