BENEFIT: Hello Happy Foundation

I’m always sucked in my Benefit’s marketing and their cute packaging! They hype up their products so much and it really does make me wasn’t to buy some of their products. One of my favourite products is the BAD Gal Bang mascara and I have used it every day since I purchased it.

Benefit’s latest realised is the Hello Happy Foundation – a lightweight foundation that evens out the skin tone and blurs imperfections with soft-focus optical blurring spheres (that sounds super fancy!). It has a natural matte finish with a light-medium coverage.  It also contains SPF 15 which is great but if you aren’t keen on SPF if your base products then this may not be for you. Hello   Happy is available in 12 shades which, to be honest, isn’t the best. Benefit do claim that there is a shade to match all skin tones though. I opted for

The packaging is just adorable every time I look at it I smile. The packaging reminds me of a Chanel foundation too just more adorable with the pink lid and smiley face. The first time I used my foundation the foundation went everywhere when I removed the lid, so be careful especially the first time you use it.

The foundation itself is very light-weight. It does dry really fast so you have to work quickly when applying it, this isn’t a problem for me. I’m not a huge fan of matte foundations and they don’t work well with my skin at all. The demi-matte formula of the Hello Happy foundation works so well will my skin and actually makes it look flawless. It honestly does feel like nothing on the skin too. I have applied my foundation with a brush and a damp beauty sponge and both techniques work well.

Overall I’m really happy with the Hello Happy foundation. You can pick the full-size up for £24.50 from Boots. They have also launched a cute mini for £10.50 which would be great to just test the foundation before committing to the full-size.

Have you tried Hello Happy?

This packaging is so adorable! I didn’t know Benefit had a new foundation out. I love the fact they’ve brought out a mini version too.

I absolutely adore foundations that are really light but still gives a nice finish! Looks like I will need to try this one out 🙂
