I’m finally talking about my go-to everyday face powder. I’m not really a powder girl as I hate the feeling of looking powdery and flat. This MUA Pro Base Prime and Conceal powder leaves my skin looking glowy! I’ve had this in my collection for such a long time but up until recently, I hadn’t tried it. It’s a little bit scary looking due to the 4 different colours. The packaging is pretty basic but it does the job and the lid is see-through so I get to see the pretty colours.
This powder is supposed to even out skin tone and illuminate. I don’t use all that much of it so I don’t really see the evening out properties but I do see my skin looking super glowy after using it. Below is a little bit of information on what the different colours are supposed to do;
Peach – This will warm up any blue hues around your eyes, you can also use this to cover a bruise if you’ve had a bump.
Lilac – Use this to brighten dull skin tones and counteract yellow tones.
Yellow – This works especially well on olive and tanned complexions to brighten around your eyes.
Green – This will neutralise red tones in your complexion – if you have rosacea then apply this underneath your foundation.
From the above, is sounds like peach and yellow do the same thing. But, to be honest I don’t care. I swirl a brush around and brush across my face. I was a bit worried that when I first purchased this I would become a multi-coloured mess but I didn’t. The different colours don’t show up on the skin, that may be because I only use a tiny amount of product each day.
I’ve had a look on the interwebs and I have seen some pretty bad reviews for this powder and to be honest I don’t understand why. It’s a perfectly good powder and does what you need a powder to do. Honestly, I think some people expect so much more. For £4 you cannot go wrong and I will continue to use this and I definitely would repurchase when I run out.

I’ve seen this a few times in my local Superdrug but always thought that this was a highlighter as it looks so shimmery. Now I know what it actually is I’m going to have to nip in and pick one up, it sounds amazing!
