HAUL: March 2016

I don’t know what happened to me this month but I got a little spend happy (whoops). To be fair to myself I haven’t brought makeup for a number of months so I deserved a little treat.

I was contacted by 2 companies this month and thought I would show you what I chose from them. First up was from Makeupbrushes.co.uk I had the chance to pick two things off the site and I was so excited to have a look. I originally chose brush from So Eco but that was out of stock so they offered to send me an eye brush kit instead. I’m really impressed with the look of it so far and can’t wait to use it. Next up I saw that they sold Japonesque brushes, ever since I got into beauty I have wanted a Japonesque brush. I decided to choose the Kumadori powder brush. This brush is so soft and I’m excited to see how it works with my powder products.
I then approached by CrowdColour.com to try out one of their personalised palettes. I always wanted to create my own eyeshadow palette and this gave me the push I needed. I went onto the site and chose large pink marble design. Very simple but very me.
After I ordered the palette I realised I didn’t have any eyeshadow pans to put in. That then made me head to BeautyBay.com to order some Makeup Geek eyeshadows. Now this I got carried away with and ordered 10 pans.

Top row: Shimma Shimma, Homecoming, Prom Night, Cosmopolitan, Twilight, Peach Smoothie and Creme Brulee.
Bottom Row: Rockstar, In The Spotlight and Starry Eyed.
I haven’t even used these shadows yet and I’m in love! They just look so beautiful and I can’t wait to see what eye looks I create. Also if you have any Makeup Geek recommendations please let me know.
Finally I decided to order the Anastasia Beverley Hills powder contour in light-medium and the dipbrow pomade in taupe. I used both of these once and my first impressions are good.
Let me know what you have picked up recently.
