Benefit is already well known for their mascaras They’re Real! And Roller Lash are already talked about so much and have a massive hype surrounding them, my favourite out of the two would have to be Roller Lash I’m not the biggest fan of They’re Real! If you’ve been living under a rock then you wouldn’t know that Benefit have recently launched BADgal BANG! Their new volumising mascara, they promise out-of-this-world volume! Already being a fan of Roller Lash I decided to pick up a mini of BADgal BANG! And see what all the hype was about.
BADgal BANG! has a new revolutionary formula using aero-particles as the volumising agent, Aero-particles are used in space technology, and are one of the lightest materials currently known to man. To me, it sounds crazy that particles from space are vein used in this mascara. The aero-particles are supposed to give amazing volume and not weigh down the lashes – one thing I hate is mascaras that weigh my lashes down!
The wand on this mascara is silicone. I much prefer a silicone wand over a bristle one. It’s also very flexible which a first seemed a little weird but now I’m used to it I really enjoy using it. The wand also grabs onto every lash and gives them a nice even coat.
My first impressions of this mascara were pretty good and my first thought was that the formula was very wet and I was a bit worried I was going to get it all over my face (this didn’t happen!). My lashes definitely had more volume to them and were very black. The formula is said to last 36 hours but there is no way I’m keeping a mascara on my eyes for that long. For me, it lasts until I remove it and night and it doesn’t flake or smudge. It’s also pretty tough to remove which I thought would put me off but I’ve used it everyday since I purchased it so… Benefit say you can build this mascara which is true to a point but you can risk looking like you have spiders for eyelashes which isn’t my cup of tea.
BADgal BANG! For me definitely lived up to my expectations and I think I’d even say it’s my favourite mascara ever. Benefit mascaras are a little pricey but I don’t mind paying it for this one because I enjoy using it so much.
If you want to try this mascara I would recommend doing what I did and picking up a mini first just encase you don’t like it!
You can purchase the full size for £21.50 and the mini for £10.50.
Have you tried Benefit BADgal BANG!?
