Goals For The Next 6 Months

How is it possible that 6 months have already gone by? January doesn’t feel so long ago but yet I’m sat her at the start of July writing this post – time flies.

I’m pleased to say I completed my biggest personal goal on 30th June – I passed my driving test! This for me is a huge achievement and at the age of 24 I passed quite late but I couldn’t be happier. This made me think, well I wonder what other goals I can complete by the end of 2016….

1) GET FIT!
Since the start of 2016 I have wanted to get fit, but to be honest I haven’t been trying hard enough. I occasionally worked out but I know I can put more effort it. I want to have a body I feel proud of and feel better in myself. I also need to find some workouts I enjoy which I can do in my own home. I’m just not confident enough to go to the gym (and memberships are bloody expensive!).

2) BLOG!
I seriously need to get myself into a proper blogging schedule. I was in a rut for a while, I didn’t want to blog and I had no motivation. The motivation is slowly coming back and I’m pleased (I’ve wrote 3 blog posts in 2 days). I’m hoping to blog at least 3 times a week but I’m not going to put pressure on myself. Just go with the flow and blog about what makes me happy!

3) SAVE!
This may sound like an easy simple goal but for me it isn’t. I cannot save a penny, it’s something I  have never been able to do and I have 0 savings which at my age is terrible. Now that I have a car I know I should have some money saved up but I just don’t. That’s why starting from now I’m going to try and stop any unnecessary spending. It’s something that needs to happen!

Well thats that, my 3 goals for the next 6 months! Fingers crossed I complete these.

Let me know if you have any goals!

Laura

I love managing my finances, although sometimes, it tends to get a bit stressful. I use a budget and I really try to discipline myself to stick to the budget. So far so good 🙂 I started using a budget spreadsheet back in October 2015 and I must say, I'm making a dent on my debts 🙂
